Ground Meat (Keema)

Ground meat is super versatile and quick to prepare. By using a jar of Spicemode you are adding dozens of spices, caramalized aromatics and a hint of sweet and sour to the dish by simply open up the jar! The addition of tomatoes gives the dish a nice hearty body and coconut milk add the final layer of richness. Wonderful mixed with rice or enjoyed with naan. You can also use this for a topping for nachos, fried rice or even a sloppy joe.

INGREDIENTS

Spicemode Vindaloo Sauce
1 lbs Ground Meat (pork, bison, beef)
1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Cup Crushed Tomato

DIRECTIONS

1.  Add a splash of coconut oil + ground meat to a pot over medium high heat, season lightly with salt + pepper and begin to brown, breaking up larger chunks. Add the jar of Spicemode Vindaloo Sauce and saute until fragrant, then add the coconut milk, tomatoes and simmer until the flavors combine. Finish with fresh chopped cilantro or scallion.

Tips & Suggestions

Skip the coconut milk and add ketchup, brown sugar, wochestershire sauce and diced peppers for an out of this world sloppy joe.
