Chickpea Hummus w/ Madras Cooking Sauce
This technique can be used to combine any of your favorite Spicemode Cooking Sauces with beans for a tasty spread or dip. I have used the on a sandwich, for a veggie platter or simply with crackers.
1/2 Jar Madras Cooking Sauce
2 Cans of Organic Chickpeas
1/4 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
1. In the bowl of a food process combine 1/2 jar Madras Cooking Sauce, 2 Cans of Chickpeas, 1/4 Cup Coconut Milk, 1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil, Coconut Flakes and juice from 1/2 a lemon.
2. Add all ingredients into a food processor and combine until smooth. Add more coconut milk if too thick.
3. Taste and add a couple more spoons of cooking sauce for a bolder flavor. Adjust lemon juice for brightness. Season with salt and enjoy.
